Project Grant 60106475

This EDA Investment for Public Works and Economic Development Facilities (CFDA 11.300) provides the Lac Du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians with $2,638,075 to construct a new molding plant facility at the Lac Du Flambeau Industrial Park in Vilas County, Wisconsin. The project will involve site preparation, installation of concrete flooring, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, HVAC, and other key components. Once completed by the target date of July 8, 2027, this facility will enable the Lac Du Flambeau Tribe to bring more manufacturing jobs to the reservation and reduce their reliance on outsourced work. The Economic Development Administration (EDA) is the funding agency for this 4-year Project Grant award, which was made on September 8, 2023 to the federally recognized Lac Du Flambeau Tribal Council.
