The City of Charlotte, North Carolina will receive a $1.742 million project grant from the Federal Aviation Administration under the Airport Improvement Program, COVID-19 Airports Programs, and Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Programs (CFDA 20.106) to acquire two zero-emission vehicles. The vehicles will be used to reduce emissions at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, which is located in multiple areas that have not attained national ambient air quality standards under the Clean Air Act. The grant period runs from August 6, 2022 through August 5, 2026.
