This $132,491 Project Grant award from the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Under Secretary for Health supports the Recovery Resource Council in providing supportive services to very low-income Veteran families through the VA Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program (SSVF Program; CFDA 64.033). The SSVF Program aims to assist Veteran families residing in or transitioning to permanent housing. Required services include outreach, case management, and assistance obtaining VA and other public benefits. Optional services funded by this award that may be provided include temporary financial assistance paid directly to third parties for childcare, housing, transportation, utilities, and other basic needs. Services will help very low-income Veteran families maintain stability as they obtain permanent housing.
