The Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families awarded the State of North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services a $5.792 million Formula Grant under the Child Abuse and Neglect State Grants program (CFDA #93.669) for the period of October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2026. The purpose of this funding is to support and improve North Carolina's child protective services systems through assisting the State. As the designated state agency to receive this subaward, the NC Department of Health and Human Services Central Administration will utilize the funding to deliver services aimed at protecting children from abuse and neglect across North Carolina in line with the goals of the federal Child Abuse and Neglect State Grants program.
