The North Dakota Protection & Advocacy Project (NDPAP) received a $282,117 Formula Grant award from the Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Community Living under the Voting Access for Individuals with Disabilities-Grants for Protection and Advocacy Systems program (CFDA 93.618).
As the designated Protection and Advocacy system for North Dakota, NDPAP will use this funding to ensure full participation in the electoral process for individuals with disabilities in the state. Specifically, from October 2021 through September 2026, NDPAP will provide education, training and assistance to help ensure voting access for people with disabilities. The funding will also support NDPAP's work to provide information and support to increase understanding of voting rights and options under federal disability laws.
