The University of Utah will receive $299,566 from the National Science Foundation Division of Environmental Biology under the Biological Sciences federal grant program (CFDA 47.074) from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2024. The funding will support the OPUS: FOREST CANOPY COMMUNITIES AS ARENAS TO ADVANCE SYNTHESES AND UNDERSTANDING OF DISTURBANCE ECOLOGY project. The Biological Sciences program aims to promote advancement in the biological sciences and strengthen the nation's scientific enterprise through increasing knowledge and enhancing understanding of major problems facing the nation.
