This National Science Foundation project grant of $187,599 awarded to The Research Foundation for the State University of New York supports research at SUNY Oswego titled "ERI: A NOVEL SOLUTION TO ENABLE HIGH-VOLTAGE DC-LINKS IN ELECTRIC VEHICLES." The award period is January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2023.
The research is funded under the NSF Engineering program (CFDA 47.041) and aims to foster innovation in engineering through developing a novel solution to enable higher voltage direct current links for electric vehicles. Specifically, the grantee will conduct research at SUNY Oswego to design a new integrated module capable of withstanding the stresses of high-voltage DC power transmission, with the goal of improving electric vehicle efficiency, performance and adoption.
