The Regents of the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs campus, received a $199,974 project grant from the National Science Foundation's Engineering program (CFDA 47.041) to conduct research on hybrid magnonic optics for data processing applications from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023. The NSF Engineering directorate seeks to improve quality of life and economic strength through engineering innovation and excellence in research and education. This award will support the university's work developing hybrid magnonic optics, which combines magnonics and photonics to potentially enable new approaches for data processing and storage.
