Front Range Community College received a $149,464 project grant award from the National Science Foundation Office of Integrative Activities under the Geosciences federal grant program (CFDA 47.050) for the period of September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2024. The award will support the COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH: GP-UP: GEO-LAUNCHPAD: ENGAGING COMMUNITY COLLEGE STUDENTS IN GEOSCIENCE-STEM CAREER PATHWAYS project. This project aims to strengthen and enhance the national scientific enterprise through the expansion of fundamental knowledge and increased understanding of the integrated Earth system by engaging community college students in geoscience and STEM career pathways through collaboration between Front Range Community College and research institutions. The total period of performance is three years with $149,464 in total funding.
