The University of Texas at Austin was awarded a $363,384 project grant from the National Science Foundation Division of Social and Economic Science under the Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences federal grant program (CFDA 47.075). The three-year grant, awarded August 1, 2021 and concluding July 31, 2024, will support the Political Leaders Through Time research project. The Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences program aims to contribute to basic research and education in these fields as well as monitor science investments, consistent with the project's focus on studying political leaders over time. The grant will fund research examining political leaders and how they have shaped society, providing insight applicable to current and future government and leadership.
