The National Science Foundation Division of Research on Learning in Formal and Informal Settings awarded a $200,000 Project Grant to the National Academy of Sciences to support equity in preK-12 STEM education. Under the grant, the National Academy of Sciences will deliver products and services from May 15, 2021 through April 30, 2024 to advance the goals of the STEM Education program (CFDA 47.076).
The STEM Education program aims to ensure the vitality of the nation's science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education enterprise. The $200,000 in funding will support the National Academy of Sciences' work to develop resources and conduct research focused on promoting equity in preK-12 STEM education, in direct support of the goals of the NSF program to strengthen STEM education.
