Northwestern University was awarded a $447,312 Project Grant from the National Science Foundation to support data acquisition and analysis activities for the MUONE Pilot Run under the Mathematical and Physical Sciences program (CFDA 47.049). The three-year award, made on September 1, 2021 and concluding on August 31, 2024, will fund the collection and study of muon data to promote progress in the mathematical and physical sciences and enhance understanding of major problems in these fields, in alignment with the program's objectives.
