The University of Texas at Dallas was awarded a $240,000 Project Grant from the National Science Foundation under the Mathematical and Physical Sciences federal grant program (CFDA 47.049) for the period of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024.
The grant funding will support collaborative research on high-dimensional quantum states in two-dimensional material quantum dots. Specifically, the University will conduct research to promote progress in mathematical and physical sciences by increasing scientific knowledge and enhancing understanding of major problems through investigation of quantum states in nanoscale semiconductor structures. The place of performance for the research is Richardson, Texas.
