Duke University was awarded a $450,000 Project Grant from the National Science Foundation to support research titled "GOLD(I) COMPLEXES CONTAINING UNSATURATED HYDROCARBYL LIGANDS" from September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2024.
The award is being administered under the National Science Foundation's Mathematical and Physical Sciences program (CFDA 47.049), which aims to promote progress in these scientific fields and strengthen the nation's scientific enterprise through increasing knowledge and enhancing understanding of major problems. Duke University will utilize the funding to conduct research on gold complexes containing unsaturated hydrocarbon ligands over the three year period of performance. Key deliverables will include research findings and data that advance understanding of these chemical compounds. The place of performance for the work is Durham, North Carolina.
