The National Science Foundation Division of Chemistry awarded Tufts University a $259,726 Project Grant under the Mathematical and Physical Sciences program (CFDA 47.049) to support research titled "COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH: STRUCTURE SENSITIVE SURFACE CHEMISTRY - SMALL MOLECULE ACTIVATION AND SPILLOVER" from May 15, 2021 to April 30, 2024. The grant funding will support Tufts University researchers in conducting collaborative research exploring structure sensitive surface chemistry related to small molecule activation and spillover. The Mathematical and Physical Sciences program aims to promote advancement in these scientific fields and strengthen the national scientific enterprise through increasing knowledge and enhancing understanding of major issues facing the nation.
