This $491,132 Project Grant from the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Under Secretary for Health will support Volunteers of America Northern Rockies in providing supportive services to very low-income Veteran families through the VA Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program (SSVF Program; CFDA 64.033).
The SSVF Program aims to coordinate or directly provide supportive services to Veteran families residing in or seeking permanent housing. Required services include outreach, case management, and assistance obtaining VA and other public benefits. Optional services funded under this award may include temporary financial assistance paid to third parties for childcare, housing, transportation, utilities, and other basic needs; and additional services such as legal aid and financial management. These supportive services granted by Volunteers of America Northern Rockies will help very low-income Veteran families obtain and sustain permanent housing.
