The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Under Secretary for Health awarded Clear Path For Veterans New England Inc. $2 million in project grant funding on October 1, 2025, under the VA Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program (CFDA 64.033).
Clear Path will provide outreach services, case management, assistance in obtaining VA benefits and public benefits, and temporary financial assistance to very low-income veteran families in Massachusetts who are residing in permanent housing, are homeless and scheduled to transition to permanent housing, or are exiting permanent housing and seeking responsive housing. The recipient may also furnish temporary financial assistance paid directly to third parties for child care, emergency housing assistance, transportation, rental assistance, utility-fee payment assistance, security deposits, utility deposits, moving costs, and general housing stability assistance, as well as optional legal assistance and financial management services.
The award runs from October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026, with place of performance in Massachusetts. The assistance type is a project grant. Clear Path For Veterans New England Inc., a tax-exempt nonprofit based in Devens, Massachusetts, is the recipient and ultimate recipient.
