The Arizona Commission on the Arts received a $1,008,332 Project Grant award from the National Endowment for the Arts under the Promotion of the Arts Partnership Agreements federal grant program. The grant will support arts programs, services, and activities carried out under the Commission's NEA-approved strategic plan from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023. As the state arts agency for Arizona and sub-awardee of the NEA, the Commission will utilize the funding to develop and maintain partnerships that advance the NEA's mission of supporting excellence in the arts, both in Arizona and through regional organizations in the state. The Promotion of the Arts Partnership Agreements program aims to leverage federal funds to support state and local arts initiatives through partnerships with state and regional arts organizations.
