This $400,925 project grant from the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Under Secretary for Health supports the Stop Inc. in delivering supportive services under the VA Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program (SSVF Program; CFDA 64.033). Stop Inc. will coordinate and provide outreach, case management, assistance obtaining VA and other public benefits, and temporary financial assistance directly to third parties for eligible very low-income Veteran families. Financial assistance may cover childcare, emergency housing, transportation, rent/utility payments, security deposits, moving costs, and general housing stability assistance including emergency supplies. Optional services include legal assistance and financial management. The grant period is from September 1, 2021 to September 30, 2023.
