The County of Snohomish received a $120,000 project grant award from the Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration on February 2, 2021 to support the Workforce Alliance Plan.
The grant was awarded under the Economic Adjustment Assistance program (CFDA 11.307), which provides technical, planning, and infrastructure assistance to regions facing adverse economic changes. Funding will support the County's Workforce Alliance Plan, allowing it to deliver workforce development services and economic adjustment strategies for the Everett area as it navigates sudden or long-term economic impacts. The grant enables the County to strengthen its regional workforce system and better position its communities and industries for future economic growth.
