The Guam Department of Education received a $1,681,978 formula grant award from the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Elementary and Secondary Education through the Student Support and Academic Enrichment program (CFDA 84.424). The award will support services and programs from September 2022 through September 2025.
The Student Support and Academic Enrichment program aims to improve student academic achievement by increasing access to well-rounded educational opportunities and improving school conditions. Under this award, the Guam Department of Education will likely provide services such as academic enrichment activities, well-rounded education experiences, and safe and healthy students programs to schools and students in Barrigada, Guam. The award amount and period of performance indicate the funding will support an established set of academic and student support services over the three year grant period.
