The Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives will use $2,975,530 in Formula Grant funds awarded on April 8, 2021 from the Institute of Museum and Library Services' Grants to States program (CFDA 45.310) to support digital inclusion, equitable library services, and the goals of its 2018-2022 strategic plan. Specifically, the Department will help communities respond to pandemic needs while meeting citizens' information needs through accessible resources and records. It will also improve institutional capacity via staff training and develop lifelong learning, employment, early literacy, youth, and civic engagement services. As the designated state library administrative agency and archives, the Department for Libraries and Archives will oversee delivery of these products and services through the completion date of April 30, 2023.
