The U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services awarded a $1,839,796 Formula Grant under the Special Education Preschool Grants program (CFDA 84.173) to the Rhode Island Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (RI DESE). The grant, with a project period from July 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026, will provide comprehensive special education and related services for children with disabilities aged 3 through 5 years in Rhode Island.
