The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development received a $70.5 million Formula Grant award from the U.S. Department of Education's Rehabilitation Services Vocational Rehabilitation Grants to States program (CFDA 84.126) for the period of October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023. Under this award, the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development will operate the state's vocational rehabilitation services program to assist individuals with disabilities through comprehensive, coordinated, and accountable services. The program will assess, plan for, develop, and provide vocational rehabilitation and employment support services consistent with individuals' strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests, and informed choice. This funding will support Wisconsin's efforts to help those with disabilities prepare for, obtain, maintain or regain employment.
