This $6,524,153 Formula Grant award, provided by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) under the Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities program (CFDA 20.513), will enable the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and its subrecipients to continue providing transportation services and capital investments for people with disabilities and older adults in the Tampa Urbanized Area (Tampa UZA). The funding will cover eligible operating expenses such as driver salaries, fuel, and mobility management, as well as capital investments including the purchase of sedan, van, and bus replacements and expansions for several subrecipient organizations. These subrecipients include HART, Neighborly Care Network, PARC Inc., PSTA, The ARC of Tampa Bay, ACTS Angels Unaware, BayCare Behavioral Health, Cove Behavioral Health, MacDonald Training Center, Northside Behavioral Health Center, PEMHS, and WestCare Gulf Coast-Florida Inc. The grant award period extends from June 23, 2025 through March 30, 2032.
