This $113.6 million Formula Grant from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) supports the California Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) program from July 2021 through June 2026. The CWSRF program, funded under the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CFDA #66.458), provides low-interest financing to subrecipients for planning, designing, and constructing eligible water quality improvement and protection projects. Through capitalization grants, the program establishes a long-term revolving fund to enhance and protect water quality and public health across California. Projects financed will address wastewater treatment and other water quality management needs. One $ subaward to the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District will expand the regional Water Reclamation Facility's capacity and upgrade treatment and biosolids processing systems.
