This $156,208.33 Cooperative Agreement award from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) under the Youth Conservation Opportunities on Public Lands program (CFDA 15.243) supports the American Conservation Experience (ACE), a non-profit organization, in providing youth and veteran workforce development and conservation services on public lands in Arizona.
The funding will enable ACE to implement a range of hands-on learning and land management activities, including trail maintenance, habitat restoration, wildlife monitoring, cultural resource preservation, and environmental education. These efforts are intended to introduce participants to careers in land management and public service while addressing critical conservation needs on BLM-managed territories. The award has a performance period from June 24, 2024 to July 31, 2027.
