ACTIVITIES:THE ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED INCLUDE THE EXECUTION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A DRINKING WATER INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT. WORKPLAN ACTIVITIES CONSIST OF CONSTRUCTION PHASE ENGINEERING SERVICES OF THE NEW STEARNS MEADOW WATER TREATMENT PLANT. THE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION, SHOP DRAWINGS AND SUBMITTALS, CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION SERVICES, PERMITTING AGENCY AND UTILITY COORDINATION, AND RESIDENT INSPECTION. SUBRECIPIENT:NO SUBAWARDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.OUTCOMES:THE ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES INCLUDE PROVIDING RELIABLE DRINKING WATER TO RESIDENTS OF THE TOWN OF SCITUATE. THE EXPECTED OUTCOMES INCLUDES ALLOWING SCITUATE TO MEET THE GROWING DEMAND FOR WATER, MITIGATE DECADES-LONG CONCERNS OVER WATER QUALITY BY REDUCING HIGH MANGANESE AND IRON CONCENTRATIONS, AND ELIMINATE MICROBIOLOGICAL CONTAMINATION AND DISCOLORATION TO PROVIDE DEPENDABLE CLEAN DRINKING WATER FOR THE COMMUNITY. THE INTENDED BENEFICIARIES INCLUDE RESIDENTS OF THE TOWN OF SCITUATE.
