Added: Apr 10, 2015 11:25 am SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS W911S8-15-T-0002 The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Washington is issuing this Sources Sought (SS) as a means of conducting market research to identify Commercial sources capable of providing, a non-personal services contract to provide inspection, maintenance and certification on the Aero-Systems Telescoping Maintenance Service Platforms (TMSP) located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the government, for the 62nd Maintenance Group at JBLM The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform inspection, maintenance and service on all four (4) Telescoping Maintenance Service Platforms (TMSP). The purpose of this contract is to ensure the TMSPs are in fully operational status and certified annually for use tough Contractor-provided servicing, inspection, certification and minor repairs from normal, fair, wear and tear in accordance with the manufacturer's manual. The TMSPs are essential to the mission because they are designed to provide access to the C-17 aircraft by personnel to conduct maintenance and corrosion control tasks as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS), Section 5 except for those items specified as Government furnished items and services. The Contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is provided on pages 3-19. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811310. The Sources Sought will also determine the availability and capability of qualified businesses capable of providing these services. Based on the responses to this Sources Notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses or procured tough full and open competition.
