The Department of the Navy awarded Seebyte Limited a $1.21 million firm-fixed-price purchase order to provide development licenses for the company's Neptune autonomous control software modules. The modules include automatic target recognition, unmanned system simulator post mission analysis tools, and various embedded deployment licenses with annual maintenance. The Naval Sea Systems Command issued the sole source award under notice N66001-21-Q-6614 in response to its need for the software to support unmanned systems operations. There was no set aside designation for this procurement from the Department of the Navy for custom computer programming services. Seebyte Limited, whose parent company is Battelle Memorial Institute, will perform the work as the incumbent contractor and deliver the licenses from its location in San Diego, California by September 30, 2021.
