USS COMSTOCK (LSD-45) LLTM RUDDER REPLACEMENT PARTS
This is a firm-fixed-price (FFP) requirement to provide Long Lead Time Materials (LLTM) for the USS COMSTOCK (LSD-45). The required parts are necessary to replace worn and/or damaged rudders. The contractor will be required to provide all materials in accordance with the product description and all applicable government specifications and regulations. Inspections and acceptance of all services will be performed at destination by the cognizant government representative. The contractor is responsible for the use of the latest revision of all references, specifications, and NAVSEA Standard Items. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) N5523620Q0098 is issued as full and open competition. The subject solicitation is being processed using FAR Part 13. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses that are those in effect tough the Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07, effective 03 August 2020, and DFARS Publication Notice 20200605. All vendors must be registered at http://www.sam.gov/. Synopsis is not required in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(13). Your quote must consist of the following: a. Standard Form 18 - Request for Quotations (RFQ) blocks 12 tough 16 must be completed by the quoter. b. RFQ Section B - Supplies or Services and Prices/Costs, your proposed prices must be inserted in the appropriate blank spaces (e.g. unit price, extended price, total). Quoter must provide a firm-fixed price for all line items identified within the Product Description under Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001-0003. c. RFQ Section K Representations, Certifications and Other Statement of Offerors, completed by quoter, and will be validated in SAM. If in SAM, please indicate in SAM. d. Notice Type: Sources Sought Notice Solicitation Number: N5523620Q0098 This is a sources sought announcement in anticipation of a future procurement. Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is conducting market research to determine industry’s capability to provide original equipment manufacturer (OEM) materials for the USS COMSTOCK’s (LSD-45) Rudders. This is in direct support of the upcoming FY-21 Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA). See Product Description List, (Enclosure (1)). The contractor shall furnish ALL materials required in the Product Description List. SWRMC is especially interested in determining small business capability and interest. SWRMC is contemplating award of a firm fixed price contract for the requirement specified in the attached Product Description List. The applicable NAICS code is 336611 Ship Building and Repairing.
