The Department of the Navy's Military Sealift Command has awarded a $7,625,041.21 firm-fixed-price purchase order to JM Ship LLC, a veteran-owned small business, for a 86-day dry cargo time charter to support an Ammunition Cargo (AC30) mission. This contract will have JM Ship LLC provide ocean and intermodal cargo transportation services to safely store and transport ammunition and hazardous materials by vessel. The contract does not have a set-aside designation. JM Ship LLC holds an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) logistics contract with the Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, valued up to $5 million, which allows the company to compete for task orders to support the Army's surface transport of equipment and supplies through August 2022.
