Added: Apr 03, 2017 9:49 am Military Sealift Command is requesting quotes to provide the labor and materials for the procurement of two lifeboat systems, each consisting of one (1) Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) totally enclosed 120-person lifeboat, one (1) SOLAS lifeboat davit, one (1) SOLAS lifeboat winch and shall also include spare parts, technical manuals and testing identified in Combined Synopsis/Solicitation N32205-16-T-4203. See attached Performance Work Statement, Attachment 1 Available Lube Oil Products and Attachment 2 Logistics Support Requirements. Please provide a price quote soonest, and no later than May 9, 2017 at 8:00 am Norfolk, VA local time directly to Mr. Tommy Hale at tommy.a.hale@navy.mil. The solicitation is not available at this time.The Military Sealift Command (MSC) is replacing the lifeboats, davits and winches on the USNS ZEUS (T-ARC). To conserve boat deck space, the existing open-topped lifeboats and their associated davits and winches will be removed to provide deck space for new lifeboats and their associated davits and winches. This item describes the technical, performance, and other requirements for the procurement of two (2) lifeboat systems. A lifeboat system is defined as one (1) SOLAS lifeboat, one (1) SOLAS lifeboat davit, and one (1) SOLAS lifeboat winch and shall also include spares, technical manuals, and testing. It is MSC's intention to install one lifeboat system on each side, port and starboard, on the USNS ZEUS.See attachment 1 Statement of Work, attachment 2 Available Lube Oil Products and attachment 3 Logistics Support Requirements for complete statement of work.All Small businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Certified HUBZone and Certified 8(a) Small Businesses are encouraged to respond.
