This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of FAR 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and will be evaluated using the procedures in FAR 13.106-2, Evaluation of Quotations or Offers. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect tough Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337215, with a small business size standard of 500 Employees. The South Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), 33100 Tamiami Trail E, Ochopee, FL 34141 is seeking pricing for six museum-quality (conservation grade) exhibit cases, in two different sizes, for De Soto National Memorial. The exhibit cases will house museum objects in the park¿s visitor center. They must meet professional museum standards for physical stability, security, and object preservation, while ensuring safe and easy access for museum staff for exhibit rotation and maintenance. These cases shall be free-standing, consisting of a back wall panel and bottom shelf, with four-sided acrylic vitrine securely attached to a floor pedestal with leveling feet. Linen wrapped deck and back wall (color to be selected by the COR from standard colors available from the contractor), with 9# ethafoam pinnable surface on deck and back wall, four-sided vitrine, with a minimum thickness of tee-quarter-inch acrylic, Acrylic vitrine must have anti-reflective coating, Acrylic vitrine must be filtered to eliminate ultraviolet (UV) light, Vitrine must lift off easily and completely for object installation, Design must conceal all case screws, lift assist devices (if any), and any entry hardware, hinges, etc. Vitrine must attach to pedestal with security screws, Powder-coated aluminum collar/surround (color to be selected by the COR from standard colors available from the contractor), Utilize appropriate gasketing of the proper density and thickness for successful compression by the vitrine top, Outside access panels to silica gel chamber, Label rails along the entire front of the pedestal, Pedestal with laminate finish with no interior case lighting. Colors will be selected by the government from standard colors available by the offeror. Exterior dimensions below are approximate and may vary from these specifications by +/- ten (10) percent if variance leads to significant cost savings. Offerors may submit multiple offers using this variance, ensuring to specify costs and dimensions proposed. Exterior measurements below are in inches and include the pedestal. The pedestals themselves should be 32 inches high, with leveling feet. S. Department of the Treasury's Invoice Processing Platform System (IPP). "Payment request" means any request for contract financing payment or invoice payment by the Contractor. To constitute a proper invoice, the payment request must comply with the requirements identified in the applicable Prompt Payment clause included in the contract, or the clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items included in commercial item contracts. Under this contract, the following documents are required to be submitted as an attachment to the IPP invoice: The contractor shall utilize the attachments feature in the lower right hand corner of the IPP invoicing screen to attach a copy of invoices. Vendor invoice must include name and address of the Contractor; invoice date and number; contract number, description, quantity, unit of measure, unit price and extended price of the items delivered; and delivery date and a copy of the trip tickets. The Contractor must use the IPP website to register, access and use IPP for submitting requests for payment. The Contractor Government Business Point of Contact (as listed in SAM will receive enrollment instructions via email from the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston (FRBB) within 3 - 5 business days of the contract award date. Contractor assistance with enrollment can be obtained by contacting the IPP Production Helpdesk via email ippgroup@bos.frb.org or phone (866) 973-3131. If the Contractor is unable to comply with the requirement to use IPP for submitting invoices for payment, the Contractor must submit a waiver request in writing to the Contracting Officer with its proposal or quotation. (End of Clause) All quoters shall complete blocks 8a tough 8f, 11c tough 14 of the Solicitation form (SF-18). The SF-18 is attached to this solicitation for pricing information only. The offeror bears full responsibility for on-time delivery of the quote to the Contracting Officer; there will be no relief given for undelivered emails that aren't received in time. This is an open-market combined synopsis/solicitation for products as defined herein. The government intends to award a purchase order as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein. To facilitate the award process, all quotes must include a statement regarding the terms and conditions herein as follows: "The terms and conditions in the solicitation are acceptable to be included in the award document without modification, deletion, or addition." OR "The terms and conditions in the solicitation are acceptable to be included in the award document with the exception, deletion, or addition of the following:" Quoter shall list exception(s) and rationale for the exception(s).
