On-Site Rheumatology Clinical Services
Added: May 29, 2015 5:45 pm The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Tucson Area Office is soliciting proposals to contract for On-site Rheumatology clinical services for eligible American Indians and Alaskan Natives at two separate health care facilities located on the Tohono O'odham Nation in Southern Arizona. The San Xavier Health Center is adjacent to the Tucson city limits and the Sells Indian Hospital is approximately 60 miles west of Tucson. This contract will provide for medically necessary diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative Rheumatology services to eligible Indian beneficiaries who seek care at the facilities within the Sells Service Unit, Tucson Area Indian Health Service (TAIHS). The solicitation will result in non-personal, firm-fixed price, definite quantity type contract. Pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 37, this contract will be a non-personal service contract under which an independent contractor shall render services and is not subject to continuous supervision and control by the Government. The solicitation is scheduled to be released on June 12, 2015 and will close COB on July 13, 2015.
