This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13) will be used for requirement. (ii) Solicitation Number: FA9302-17-P-K067(iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect tough Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 and DPN 20161222.(iv) This requirement will be BRAND NAME. NAICS Code is 337215, size standard 500 employees. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be followed.(v) CLIN NomenclatureCLIN 0001 - Mezzanine Shelving Stackers (vi) Description of items to be acquired- Mezzanine Shelving Stackers Specifications:The contractor is to furnish and install one (1) SWS VidMarLista Ten-bay extended height 2K Stak System, 2,000 lb capacity, consisting of twenty (20) sections of racking, utilizing sixty (60) 72" wide x 48" deep 2K pallets, manual mast and bride, mast floor lock, mast rotation restraint, and mast and column pallet locator features as follows:Statement of Work (SOW)-Attachment 1Specification Sheet-Attachment 2 Floor Plan-Attachment 3Shipping and Installation should be included in your quote(vii) Estimated date of delivery shall be: 01 September 2017Ship Address to:30 Hoglan Avenue, Bldg 1030Edwards AFB, CA 93524(viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. a. Provide Cage code/DUNS Code when submitting quote. Also provide the full solicitation number on all packages.b. Warranty(ix) 52.212-2 -- Evaluation -- Commercial Items.(a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:(i) Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement; To be found technically acceptable, the quote must meet the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and Specifications Sheet.(ii) Price;(b) Evaluation will be competed using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. All offers will be evaluated on their proposed Total Price. The contract will be awarded to the company with lowest price, which also fully meets all specifications. Only the lowest priced proposal will be evaluated for technical acceptability (to be based on the specifications). The next lowest offer will only be evaluated if the aforementioned offer is not found technically acceptable (and so on). Only one award will be made under this solicitation. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Submit only written offers; oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM).(c) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Added: Jun 13, 2017 5:51 pm This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis and Request for Information (RFI) to afford industry an opportunity to provide information regarding their capabilities for providing a Stacker Shelving System in support of the 412th Test Wing, Electronic Warfare Group (412 TW/EWG) located at Edwards AFB, CA. This is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract. Parties that respond will not be paid for the information submitted. The Air Force is hereby requesting capability statements and other information from interested sources. The 412 TW/EWG has identified a requirement for the Stacker Shelving System (See the attached Specification for details).GENERAL INFORMATION: The 412th Test Wing, Electronic Warfare Group, is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy for Stacker Shelving System. The AFTC/PZIEB anticipates awarding a contract under NAICS code 337215 with a size standard of 500 employees. A Firm fixed price Contract will be awarded. System for Award Management (SAM) registration is mandatory for this contract (see SAM website at sam.gov). Responses will contribute to the Market Research Report as part of the acquisition strategy development process. Sources responding are invited to provide input and recommendations concerning contract type, contract clauses, and other aspects of the acquisition and anything else that may help to develop an efficient and effective acquisition program. If sufficient responsible and capable sources are identified, a formal RFQ will be posted on FedBizOpps. Interested parties are requested to furnish a capability statement detailing their capabilities to provide these services, include highlights of experience on similar government or commercial contracts/agreements. In addition, please indicate business size (Large or Small), cage code/DUNS, provide a list of any contracts or other agreements similar in nature, the program/project name, contract number or other identifier, administering office/address, and the point of contact with the current telephone number.The AFTC/PZIEB will not pay for information or comments provided and will not recognize any costs associated with submission of comments. Please provide your response in Microsoft Word or a Microsoft Word compatible format. Submissions should be to the point and no more than 10 double spaced pages. Responses shall not be proprietary and will be unclassified.Interested firms are requested to submit the information no later than 16 June 2017.
