THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.The Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, Contracting Branch (AFLCMC/HNCK) hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), soliciting from a single source to satisfy agency requirements.AFLCMC/HNCK intends to award a sole source contract for the purchase of Filter Insertion System (FIS) assembly/parts, to Mechtronic Solutions, Inc., 3801 Academy Parkway N. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. This proposed acquisition will include the following: 1ea, Filter Insertion System Assembly, P/N: R68762 Rev A; 2ea, Forward Horseshoe Support Assembly, P/N: R68763 Rev A; 2ea, Pillow Block Rail, P/N: R68769 Rev B; 1ea, Main Beam Mount, P/N: R68776 Rev A; 2ea, Tie-In Beam Mount, P/N: R68781 Rev A; 3ea, Aft Horseshoe Support Assembly, P/N: R68784 Rev A; and 2ea, Drive Translation Assembly, P/N: R68799 Rev A. Required Delivery is 60 days after receipt of order. The Government intends to make an award by July 2015. Mechtronic Solutions, Inc. is the only known source that meets the Government's requirement of the required items due to their technical expertise, extensive research, testing and qualifications.If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify its interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within seven (7) days of this publication. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a) or women owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. Before consulting the Ombudsman concerned parties should first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendation to the Contracting Officer for resolution.
