The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for The Forward-Looking Infrared Radar (FLIR) Camera will enable controllers inside Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC) to make immediate visual assessment of personnel, vessels or objects approaching to the Southern Atlantic Coastline at CCAFS during day, night or limited visibility. This will allow the BDOC Controllers to dispatch the appropriate number and type of SFS units to respond to the possible teats. This camera will also be equipped with Video Analytics which will make this a smart camera able to alert BDOC Controllers of approaching targets of concern to the Southern Atlantic Coastline approaches.This is a Sole Source with SmartWatch Security & Sound LLC IAW FAR 6.302-1. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15) SmartWatch Security & Sound LLC is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement SmartWatch Security & Sound LLC, submitted a letter stating that licensing is controlled and limited to a single source, limiting this ability which, eliminates any unauthorized access to restricted and confidential content. SmartWatch does not have any alternative agency or distributors authorized to provide the clandestine programming and licensing required for expansion of the existing VMS. The use of a different system, due to the awarding to any other contractor/vendor, would void any warranty that 45 SFS has for these systems by introducing foreign software/products. By awarding this contract to Smart Watch 45 SFS ensures the connectivity of the additional cameras to the existing system.The attached Sole Source Justification has been made available for review. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item/service utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 333316.FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that SmartWatch Security & Sound LLC is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
