Stottler Henke Associates, Inc. (SHAi) was awarded a $124,938.00 firm fixed-price contract by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Shared Services Center for the development of a distributed architecture to enable intelligent characterization, fault detection/diagnosis/reconfiguration/replanning/rescheduling, and adaptive execution capabilities for spacecraft. This Phase I research and development effort leverages SHAi's previous experience integrating autonomous management technologies under the MAESTRO (Management through Intelligent, Adaptive, Autonomous, Fault Identification and Diagnosis, Reconfiguration/Replanning/Rescheduling Optimization) framework. SHAi is partnering with Montana State University, which has extensive experience designing, building, launching, and operating small satellites. The contract is set aside for small businesses and is expected to be completed by January 25, 2019. SHAi holds several active Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) vehicles with the Navy's research and development programs.
