Parabilis Space Technologies, Inc., a small business certified as a HUBZone firm, was awarded a $124,985 firm-fixed-price contract by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Shared Services Center. The contract, issued under the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, is for the development of a liquid injection thrust vector control (LITVC) system integrated into a regeneratively cooled, additively manufactured nozzle. This innovation is intended to address the steering needs of sample return missions. The proposed system integrates with Parabilis' aft-injection center exhaust (ACE) architecture and is particularly synergistic with JPL's hybrid rocket motor architecture proposed for Mars Sample Return. The contract was set aside for total small business participation.
