The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Kennedy Space Center awarded a firm fixed-price purchase order to INFICON, Inc., a foreign-owned for-profit manufacturer, for $1,264,972. The contract is to support the Volatiles Investigating Polar Exploration Rover (VIPER) development and testing. INFICON will provide specialized vacuum components, instrumentation, and process equipment such as Inficon MPH Transpector Residual Gas Analyzers, vacuum gauges, and spare parts. The work will be performed at INFICON's facility in East Syracuse, New York. The contract period of performance runs through June 14, 2023.
