The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention awarded a $1.473 million firm fixed price purchase order to the American Board of Family Medicine Inc. to provide data gathering and reporting services in support of COVID-19 emergency response efforts. Under the contract, the American Board of Family Medicine will deliver regular access to longitudinal electronic health records from over 800 primary care facilities, along with summary reports, sample weights, and monitoring of health equity, post-acute sequelae, and vaccination impacts. There was no set-aside designated for this sole source requirement. Funding comes from the CDC located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to support ongoing analytics and assessments using outpatient EHR data as the agency responds to the COVID-19 pandemic.
