This is a request for Sources that can manufacture and supply the items listed in the attached Specification. Reclamation requests the following information from any interested manufacturers. Added: Mar 29, 2018 8:34 pm Announcement The Morrow Point Dam and Power Plant has a requirement to replace sump pumps, motors, and controls. Morrow Point Dam and Power Plant is part of the US Bureau of Reclamation, Curecanti Field Division located at 1330 East Oak Grove Road, Montrose, Colorado 81401. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Parts 12 and 13.5 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations as a full and open requirement. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a competitive solicitation for this requirement. Required Equipment 1) Provide 2 each 100-125hp, 1 each 10-15hp motor and 2 each 15hp motors, 460 volt, 3 phase, all soft start compatible. 2) Provide 2 turbine pumps Peerless Pump Model 24HXB or equal, each to provide 6000gpm capacity at 55 feet of head and mate to the 100-125hp motors listed above, 1 each turbine pump Peerless Pump Model M10MA or equal to provide 500gpm capacity at 55 feet of head and mate to the 10-15hp motor listed above, and 2 turbine pumps Peerless Pump Model M10MA or equal, each to provide 500gpm at 65 feet of head and mate to the 15hp motors listed above, and all associated connecting shafts bearings (no external oilers) and all other required mounting hardware. 3) Provide soft start motor controllers for each of the listed motors mounted in enclosures that meet or exceed NEMA requirements for the motors. Enclosures shall be NEMA 4X weatherproof, and starters shall include all equipment for operating including: a. HAND/OFF/AUTO SWITCH ON ENCLOSURE DOOR b. RED MOTOR ON INDICATING LIGHT ON ENCLOSURE DOOR, LED LAMPS c. NUMBER OF STARTS COUNTER LOCATED ON ENCLOSURE DOOR d. RUN TIME COUNTER LOCATED ON THE ENCLOSURE DOOR e. HAND OPERATED DISCONNECT SWITCH ON SIDE OF ENCLOSURE WITH INTERLOCK TO DOOR f. 120 VAC CONTROL POWER TRANSFORMER SIZED AT LEAST 250 VA FOR EXISTING CONTROL LOADS. g. 600V, 30 AMPERE RATED TERMINAL BLOCKS FOR MAKING CONNECTIONS TO EXISTING EQUPMENT EXTERNAL TO THE STARTERS. Delivery: *Vendor shall include pricing of freight on board destination (FOBD) to the US Bureau of Reclamation, Curecanti Warehouse, located at 1330 East Oak Grove Road, Montrose, Colorado 81401. *All deliveries by the Contractor shall take place between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday.
