The National Park Service (NPS), Midwest Region, awarded a firm-fixed-price construction contract worth $49,601.00 to Rusty Bucket Construction LLC, a minority-owned, woman-owned small disadvantaged business, to refinish the visitor center concrete floors at the Minuteman Missile National Historic Site in Philip, South Dakota. The contract, which was set aside for 100% small business participation, involves applying a polyurea two-part component, rapid-cure basecoat with a decorative chip, followed by a polyaspartic high-performance floor coating to cover 5,147 square feet of interior concrete flooring. The project also includes the removal and replacement of 1,309 square feet of modular tile carpet and the filling of two concrete cut-outs. Rusty Bucket Construction LLC is registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and holds several Indefinite Delivery Vehicles (IDVs) with the USDA Forest Service Job Corps program, demonstrating its capacity to deliver diverse construction and facilities management services to federal agencies.
