The National Park Service awarded a purchase order to Allegro Sanitation Corp. for trash and refuse removal services at the Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island for $274,492.25, effective August 30, 2024. This is a total small business set-aside. Work is performed at the Statue of Liberty National Monument on Liberty Island, New York and Ellis Island, New Jersey, with administrative oversight in Jersey City, New Jersey. The contractor furnishes all equipment, material, labor, and supervision to collect, transport, recycle, and dispose of refuse materials. The government estimates approximately 3,060 cubic yards of refuse will be collected annually. The contract runs from September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2026, with the option to extend for an additional eight months. Pricing is firm fixed price.
