The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has awarded a firm-fixed-price purchase order contract worth $166,307.00 to LG Forestry, LLC, a minority-owned, self-certified small disadvantaged, economically disadvantaged women-owned, and woman-owned small business. The contract is for a tree thinning (manual lop and scatter) treatment on 3,076 acres of pinyon pine and Utah juniper trees in White Pine County, Nevada, with an option for up to an additional 664 acres. This contract was set aside for small business and aligned with LG Forestry's core competencies in hazardous fuels removal, habitat improvement, revegetation, and other techniques to improve ecosystem health and resilience on public lands. LG Forestry currently holds several indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicles and blanket purchase agreements with the U.S. Forest Service and Department of the Interior to provide these types of forestry management services across the Western United States.
