Added: November 15, 2007 PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR WHEELCHAIR, STRETCHER, AND AMBULATORY PATIENT TRANSPORTATION SERVICE, for the Orlando VA Medical Center, Orlando Florida. This acquisition will be conducted as a joint Small Business and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside, with the intention of establishing multi award Requirements type contracts with two providers, iaw the multi award preference stated at Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 16.500(a). One contract will be a competitive set aside for firms categorized as Small Business, the other contract will be a competitive set aside for firms categorized as SDVOSB. This is a presolicitation notice for services to be procured per the procedures at FAR 12, 13, and 15. Request for Proposals (RFP) Solicitation Number VA24808RP0072. Solicitation issue date on/about 10 December 2007, proposal due date approximately 30 days thereafter. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 485991, size standard $6.5M. Contractor to provide all personnel, materials, supplies, vehicles, equipment and supervision to provide transportation service for VA beneficiaries; wheelchair, scooter, stretcher, and other ambulatory patients. Period of performance: effective date tough 30 September 2008, with four 1-year option periods. Contractor must possess all necessary licenses to perform this service in Orange County Florida. All necessary solicitation documents may be obtained at the FedBizOps website after 10 December using the solicitation number (VA24808RP0072).
