This BAA will request applied research and development proposals for high energy laser technologies in: 1) Beam Control, 2) Gas Lasers, 3) Free Electron Lasers, 4) Solid State Lasers, 5) Advanced Lasers and 6) High Energy Laser System Modeling & Simulation. The HEL-JTO intends to award several contracts arising from proposals received in response to this BAA. The anticipated award date is February 2010.
