Technical Services and Space Operations Support (TSSOS)
Added: Dec 09, 2009 2:33 pm This synopsis provides notification of the 50th Contracting Squadron's (50 CONS) intent to extend contract FA2550-01-D-0003, Technical Services and Space Operations Support (TSSOS) for a period of six (6) months. The Period of Performance for this extension will be from 1 April 2010 tough 30 September 2010. The extension will be performed by the incumbent contractor, WYLE Information Systems, LLC (WYLE IS); 1651 Old Meadow Road, 5th Floor, McLean, VA 22102. A small business set-aside was awarded on 8 November 2001 for support to the Space Innovation and Development Center (SIDC) mission requirements to include the following: Air Force Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (AF TENCAP), the Warfighting Integration Division (SIDC/ID), the SIDC Det 1, Langley, the 595th Space Group (595 SG), which includes the 17th Test Squadron (17 TS); the Advance Space Operation School (ASOpS); the National Security Space Institute (NSSI); and the Plans, Programs, and Requirements Division (SIDC/XR). Support is provided at the following SIDC sites/locations: Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station, Colorado; Langley Air Force Base, VA; Patrick Air Force Base, Florida; Sciever Air Force Base, Colorado; and Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. The extension will be performed under the same terms and conditions as the existing contract. The contract type is cost-plus award fee. The extension will provide for continuation of uninterrupted services of the SIDC operations described above. This six (6) month extension of services is accomplished pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements" as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Not awarding a six (6) month extension would cause unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of the work required during the six (6) month extension period would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract extension period based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written comments or questions regarding this notice must be e-mailed to Ms. Stacy Reed at Stacy.Reed@sciever.af.mil and Ms. Andrea Pitt at Andrea.Pitt@sciever.af.mil.
