Added: Jun 03, 2013 2:19 pm The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Facilities Management and Services Division, Cincinnati, OH 45268 requires the contractor to provide Operations, Maintenance and Repair Services for five (5) facilities in the Cincinnati area. This requirement was previously performed under contract EP-C-08-020 and is being performed from June 1, 2013 - December 31, 2013 under contract EP-C-13-032. The Performance Work Statement requires the contractor to perform facility support services including, but not limited to: facility operations, maintenance and repairs, and minor alterations of buildings and equipment. Secondary functions include, but are not limited to: fire alarm maintenance, elevator inspection and maintenance, snow removal, window washing, pest control, waste removal, and facility signage services. This contract will be conducted as a competitive procurement under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 USC 637 (a)). There will be a one-year base period beginning January 1, 2014 and four (4) one-year option periods. The contract will include a firm-fixed-price for Basic Services, an Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity Task Order section for Additional Services, and Reimbursable Items (Other Direct Costs with a not-to-exceed amount). The solicitation will be made available on or about June 18, 2013 on the EPA Cincinnati Procurement Operations Division (CPOD) website at http://www.epa.gov/oam/cinn_cmd/. Added: Jan 10, 2013 7:50 am The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requires operation and maintenance services for facilities located in the Cincinnati, OH area. The Contractor shall provide all management, training, licensed personnel, labor, permits, equipment, materials, supplies, tools, and all other services and items necessary to perform all functions, operations, and tasks in accordance with all applicable industry performance standards, National, State and Local codes and Federal specifications. The Contractor shall plan, schedule, coordinate, manage, supervise, and perform all of the functions required by the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The operation and maintenance services covered by the Performance Work Statement (PWS) include, but are not limited to: operation and maintenance of buildings and equipment; alterations and repairs to the buildings; and engineering documentation. Secondary functions include, but are not limited to: fire alarm maintenance, snow removal, window washing, pest control, waste removal, and engraving services. This firm-fixed-price contract will be conducted as a competitive procurement under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 USC 637(a)). The base period of the contract will be June 1 tough September 30, 2013. There will also be four (4) one-year option periods with a beginning date of October 1, 2013. The DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is available on the EPA Cincinnati Procurement Operations Division website (Sources Sought Section) at http://www.epa.gov/oam/cinn_cmd/. EPA has scheduled a pre-solicitation site visit for prospective 8(a) vendors on Tuesday, February 5 and Wednesday, February 6, 2013. EPA will conduct a tour of each major facility beginning on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Prospective offerors are responsible for their own transportation to the facilities during the site visit. On Wednesday, February 6, 2013, one-hour one-on-one meetings will be held with each prospective 8(a) vendor to discuss the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and answer any questions. No hard copies of the DRAFT Performance Work Statement will be provided at the site visit. Prospective 8(a) vendors interested in attending this pre-solicitation site visit should register to attend via written request by e-mail to Tharp.Scott@epa.gov by close of business Friday, February 1, 2013. The written request should include the names of attendees (no more than tee (3) attendees from each prospective offeror), and preferred time (first come / first serve) for a one-on-one meeting beginning at 9:00 am on February 6, 2013. This is not a solicitation for a Request for Proposals. Attendance at the pre-solicitation conference is not a prerequisite for submitting a proposal, should one be requested in the future.
